Pokemon
Home/Change Series
I don't think you really need me to tell you what this show is about ;) If you really need to know, there are about 50,000 sites out there who could do it for me.
I got into Pokemon in 1999, at a time when many people believed (and still do) that Pokemon made anime look bad (a black spot if you will), and was only for kids. I disagree. It got me through some tough and stressful times, and I'll always be grateful for that. When I was in the early stages of college and got my first job, the combination was overwhelming. I taped episodes off the TV and watched them at the end of the day - it gave me comfort and made me feel better about things.
Kojiro and Musashi are my personal favorites besides Kasumi. They're blundering dunderheads, but they're LOVABLE blundering dunderheads. The kind of people who try to be truly evil but can never get up to that point, to cross that line. Sometimes you had to wonder if they considered themselves secret friends with the brats, especially when they teamed up to stop a greater evil or solve a puzzle.
